At the heart of the May $6K Community Giveaway is one simple idea: support the people and programs making a real difference. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Camp Molly, an initiative that continues to create lasting impact across communities in Ontario.
Building Confidence. Breaking Barriers.
Camp Molly is a free, four-day camp for young women aged 15–18, providing hands-on experience in firefighting and emergency response. From fire suppression and rescue techniques to teamwork and leadership, participants gain real-world skills in a supportive, empowering environment.
But Camp Molly is about more than learning how to fight fires.
It’s about:

- Showing young women that they have a place in the fire service—and beyond

Through the May $6K Community Giveaway, we proudly supported:
- Camp Molly Markham – $500, led by Nancy Merocchi of Markham Fire
- Camp Molly overall – $500
Total contribution: $1,000 (2025)
Since receiving funding, the program has continued to grow and expand its reach, engaging more participants and removing financial barriers so that all who want to participate can. Medallion is proud to be recognized among the program’s supporters—helping make an initiative that truly transforms lives possible .
