Ready for Riding Season?

With spring officially here, we know what some of you are thinking – it’s almost time for motorcycle season!

Living in Ontario makes it difficult to ride your motorcycle year round, which may just make the spring and summer months of riding even more enjoyable. No matter the kind of motorcycle or level of experience, we offer riders all of the protection needed to enjoy every moment on the road.

Basic coverage required in Ontario:

Third party liability – can help protect you from lawsuits or claims against you, as a result of riding your motorcycle.

Accident benefit coverage – can be helpful in the event of an injury resulting from an accident.

Uninsured automobile coverage – can be helpful in a situation where you hit or are hit by an uninsured vehicle.

While basic coverage listed above is necessary, our brokers will work with you to determine if you may require additional coverage to ensure you are properly protected and prepared for anything that comes your way. This additional coverage could include:

  • Civil liability
  • Comprehensive coverage (hail, fire, theft, vandalism)
  • Accessory and upgrade loss of use
  • Roadside assistance
  • Accident forgiveness
  • Motorcycle replacement coverage
Factors that could influence your motorcycle policy include:
  • Your choice of motorcycle
  • The area you live in
  • Safety courses completed
  • Age years of holding a motorcycle license
  • Your driving record

Did you know that if you already have your auto insurance with us, you could also be eligible for a discount on your motorcycle policy? Contact us to find out if you qualify!

To receive a quote, be sure to have the following items prepared to give to your broker:

  • Personal information (name, date of birth, address, license information)
  • Vehicle information (year, make & model, license, driving records and claims information)

Whether you’re a first time or seasoned rider, Medallion has you covered.
