Our Medallion 5K Giveaway Social Media Contest that took place over the month of May has officially wrapped up. We were lucky enough to get many worthwhile submissions from First Responders across Ontario. There were four winners total, each with a great cause to support.
The winners are:
Grand Prize Winner: Norfolk County Paramedics
Our $2,500 donation will help the Norfolk County Paramedics continue to build their peer support team, which offers support to their paramedic family – one peer connection at a time.
Runner up: Parry Sound Ontario Conservation Officers Association
Our $1,000 donation will help to put together “take home and keep kids and wardens fishing” packages.
Most liked photo: Fire Service Women Ontario
They will receive $500 towards their next training symposium.
Honorable mention: Belleville Police Association
They will receive $500 towards the Food for Learning program with the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board, as no child should go hungry while learning.
