After holding in this secret for a few months, we’re excited to finally share that Medallion Group Insurance has been named one of 10 recipients of Wawanesa Insurance’s Going the Extra Mile program!
For Medallion, going the extra mile means giving back to our First Responder members and the communities they serve. In recognition of the underserved communities facing an increased need for financial assistance at the beginning of the pandemic, the idea for the Medallion May 6K Community Giveaway was born. Since its inception in 2020, our donations have helped First Responders support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, feed hungry children in schools, maintain veteran gravesites and more.
Receiving this recognition not only reinforces the importance of our investment in the communities we serve, but also provides us with the opportunity to direct the $10,000 prize donation to Boots On The Ground. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been selected out of over 100 inspiring and heartwarming submissions from across the country.
